I really hope that this can be changed…

I am Chaldean Iraqi legal resident I was detained by ICE, I was placed under deportation and housed in Chalhuon County Jail in Battle Creek, MI. It’s so hard to explain to you how harsh and inhuman the sheriff’s treated the immigrants there, how bad and little food they served, and how expansive was to buy food or to make phone calls to the family, there was no legal help for anyone there, I watched consternation camps in Germany in WW2 on the Discovery Channel, believe me it really felt like I was in them. I also did two years and six months in D Ray James Correctional Facility in Folksten, Ga (GEO) the where 2500 inmate there over crowded mis managed and out of controlled almost 80% to 90% was there for re entry Mexicans and South American most been in USA for long time, alot of them not criminals just undocumented immigrants. OMG you,ll never believe how it is run alot of CO didn’t know how to do there job alot of there were guitting there job because of the pressure that was put on them by the Warden there was very very bad medical serves they make the inmates work like slaves paying them $19.80 for a month , and because the the CO, counselors, and case mangers didn’t get payed good all the cigarettes, cell phones, and drugs (marijuana, pharmaceutical drugs, and cocaine) they bring and sell it to the inmates. The case mangers are there to help with legal matters but they didn’t know what to do ant that was because they didn’t know how to do there job all the case mangers started as CO then moved up to counselors and then to case mangers. I had to give up my right to fight my deportation case and get deported, but because Im from Iraq I can’t be deported by UN mandate (Im christian and the civil war in Iraq)

I also have a loved one in Stewart Detention Center who is suffering from ^HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE and has SEVERE BACK issues that need immediate medical attention. I have done almost everything I can to set him free and this Horrible Detention Center, there phone company, and our Lawyer has SQUEEZED practically every penny from my account and our other resources. This has been a long an ongoing HORRIBLE and UNIMAGINABLE journey for us. However, we will continue to fight and pray for our family and yours. I AM ASKING JESUS RIGHT NOW TO SET OUR PEOPLE FREE… WE MUST PRAY FOR THIS AS A WHOLE!!! OUR FATHER WORKS MIRACLES. WE JUST HAVE TO HAVE FAITH AND PRAISE HIM ( GIVE GOD THANKS ). My people, please remember our LORD answers in his time, not ours. I’m a Marine Combat Veteran, who didn’t fight for the principles this corporation is espousing by abusing the rights of fellow humans/immigrants. Outlaw Private Prisons! As an American Citizen born and raised and I find this kind of thing appalling. The very existence of these detention centers is an affront to the very fabric and founding of America. Corporations get wealthy off the backs of the undocumented Immigrant rather they are working in a factory or detained in a center and I find it morally reprehensible. Our Elected officials should launch an IMMEDIATE investigation into this and Close every one of these centers however since we live in a society where Politicians are bought and sold perhaps Citizens of America need to rise up and be heard. Check out to whom CCA made their political contibutions.

Shut down CCA Stewart Detention Center! It is a gross travesty of human justice when the detainees are treated the way they are at Stewart. No company should profit off human lives the way CCA does; $50 million a year is outrageous!
