A Super Bowl ad for Dodge Ram trucks that ran during the Super Bowl won a lot of praise, the Latino group Cuetame felt it didn't feature enough Latinos, so they made their own version.
A Latino organization has "fixed" the lack of Latino faces in the otherwise much-praised Super Bowl ad that featured the late Paul Harvey's "So God Made a Farmer" monologue from the late ‘70s.
Cuéntame, a Latino nonprofit, has uploaded its own version of the ad onto its Facebook page, keeping Harvey's commentary but replacing some of the mostly white faces with Latinos and Latinas.

The Dodge Ram Super Bowl ad sought to show the scope and diversity of America’s working farms, but it wasn’t diverse enough for some critics.
Sponsored by Chrysler for its Ram trucks, the ad used a montage of farm photos as a backdrop to Harvey praising the American farmer.
A 2011 U.S. Department of Labor study shows that 71% of all U.S. farmworkers were born in Mexico or Central America.

The Dodge ad quoted the late radio commentator Paul Harvey’s 1978 ode to rural workers, “So God Made a Farmer,” but recent data shows the farm workforce to be far more Hispanic than shown in the ad.
"It's a white-washed ad," said Axel Caballero, founder of Cuéntame. "(The) composition of America has changed. The faster brands understand that, the better they're going to do."
Chrysler has said the ad is part of a year-long campaign calling attention to the importance of the farmer but otherwise has declined any comment on it.

The Dodge Super Bowl commercial was a love song to farmers, but Cuéntame made their own version to give if more of a Latino flavor.
Harvey's commentary was recorded in 1978 when he spoke at a Future Farmers of America convention.
Two other organizations have also uploaded their own altered versions of the ad.
