North Carolina's senate has just passed a bill with new abortion regulations. The bill now heads to Gov. McCrory who is expected to sign it.

New requirements, such as a doctor being present during abortions, will be placed on clinics. The bill will also temporarily allow North Carolina's health department to make new rules for the state's abortion clinics.
Family planning advocates say it will be harder for clinics to stay in business, as the bill prevents government-administered insurance plans from paying for abortions, unless a pregnancy endangers a woman's life.
Planned Parenthood is asking the governor to veto the bill and has a petition with 35,000 signatures of people asking the same thing.
