Is this what we've come to? A Gestapo ICE? On Saturday at around 6:00am ICE agents raided the Estrada's home in Moore, Oklahoma. Carlos Estrada Barrintos was quickly handcuffed, then agents proceded to handcuff Estrada's wife, their 15 year old daughter, and 18 year old son.
Minutes after they realized they realized they were in the incorrect home, but kept Carlos in handcuffs for another 40 minutes.
Estrada told Accion Oklahoma reporters "My record reflects nothing to be shameful for, they [ICE] is who shames me"
This is an English report from another local station KTQV9
ICE agents were contacted by KTQV9 and had the following to say.
On Jan. 8 at about 6 a.m., officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and District 21 Task Force in Oklahoma executed a search warrant issued by a District Court judge at a Moore, Okla., residence.
Shortly after entering the residence, ICE officers interviewed the alleged target and noted a discrepancy between the residence owner's social security number and that of the target of the investigation.
Officers conducted an on-site electronic fingerprint comparison which confirmed that the residence owner was not the target of the investigation, even though they both have the same name.
Officers apologized and departed the residence. ICE immediately began investigating this incident, which is ongoing. The investigation into the original target is also ongoing.

Last month Representative Luis Gutierrez ridiculed SB1070 and similar laws, by asking, "Who's the immigrants? Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez." A very telling observations that unearths the racial profiling with which draconian anti-immigrant laws are enforced.
Here, we see another example. Former Governor of Arizona, now 96 years old, was detained by border patrol after radiation from treatment triggered an alarm at a checkpoint (as noted below). The trigger is understandable, but one still wonders if Justin Bieber would have been detained also. After all this isn't the first time his citizenship has been questioned by authorities.

Undocumented immigrants in Arizona are bracing themselves for the worst in the Supreme Court's revision of SB 1070. Immigrants are taking the proper precautions should they be forced to leave the state, including leaving children to guardians, homes to residents and more. A community organization, Puente, is helping immigrants take those precautions.

Joe Arpaio has recently revived the birther movement. In a press conference Arpaio stated that President Obama's birth certificate is likely a fake. Ridiculous, we know.
But all this seems like a strange strategy for Arpaio as the Department of Justice's patience is running low. Arpaio has refused an independent investigator into his office to investigate complaints of civil rights abuses. Thus, the Dept. of Justice has cut off negotiations as is threatening to sew.
