Walmart needs to treat its workers with respect. They should be allowed to join a union. They need a living wage and Walmart does not need more profits on the backs of the working poor.

Walmart has made obscene amounts of money off the suffering, exploitation and oppression of workers and the merciless exploitation of our world… it’s past time to hold them accountable. If Walmart cracks, other giant corporations will follow. No one business or corporation should have so much influence, power and affluence while ignoring or subverting the laws of the land, crushing worker rights and relentlessly driving down prices while maximizing profits using any means at their disposal… no matter the impact on people’s lives, the environment and the well being of humanity.

My family will boycott Walmart not JUST on Black Friday but from this week UNTIL SUCH TIME IN THE FUTURE that Walmart has decided to allow unions, to train its workers to eliminate racism from the workplace (we are thinking of California lawsuits here), and to keep holidays as holidays so their workers can have holidays too.

A corporation like Wall Mart needs to consider the fact that without workers, they are nothing. Big profits? Do the decent and American thing, and pay your workers a fair wage and benefits.
