Nancy Byers signed via Nancy Byers 2012-11-21 20:05:00 -0800Walmart employees should be allowed to form a union. They should be able to earn wages high enough so that they don’t need to use food stamps. They should be shown respect and should not have to work under horrible conditions like 120 degree temperatures. I totally support the rights of these employees to form a union and get fair treatment from their employers. The Walmart owners are multi-billionaires and can afford to give their employees a higher wage.

bill nierstedt signed via bill nierstedt 2012-11-21 19:50:16 -0800I truly believe that Walmart lives at the root cause of so many of our economic troubles. Outsourcing jobs to foreign countries, allowing those countries to make inferior/dangerous products, paying those foreign workers below poverty level pay, selling those inferior products at such a low cost that they ‘steal’ the market share for that product, and then continuing to make inferior crap products that break and get thrown into our landfills at record rates, not paying their workers a decent wage, and not giving them health insurance! Walmart is evil! But the Walton family is the richest family in America. Think there is any connection?
