I work for Sears. I am working both Thanksgiving Thursday and Black Friday. I do not have a choice in this matter as this is what retailers say the consumers want. This won’t change until the American people decide that spending a whole day with their familys is more important than a great buy for a product. I’m sorry for all of us as a nation of sheep. I will never and have never participated in Black Friday! I stand with you Walmart Workers!

There is nothing at WalMart that I can’t buy elsewhere.

I won’t set foot in a WalMart until they start treating their employees fairly. The Walton family is among the richest families on Earth, so they can afford to pay the employees that got them there more than slave wages.

It’s time for Walmart workers (and all employed Americans) to have the least they get paid be more than enough income for them and their families to live far above what’s already the dismal living standard defined as the poverty rate in this country. The Walmart family and it’s upper management have become incredibly wealth and won’t lose their fortunes. Raising their employees’ standard of living will do the overall economy in the U.S. a service by having their workers help pay it forward buy purchasing the food, clothing shelter their families need (i.e. multiplier effect).

Most of the food items $old in Wal-Mart is poor quality and/or GMO processed foods. The dry goods area isn’t much better; the majority is made in China Red Inc. (ink) or from some other distant lands. The employees at Wall-Mart look sickly, tired and haggard. Impoverished.

I don’t $hop at Wal-mart… so this pledge is easy for me.

All workers deserve RESPECT, decent working conditions, and decent pay. It’s time that WALMART provides these.
