The fact that there are for profit prisons is already a moral wrong. The imperative of all companies is to make profit and to grow its profits year by year. For a private prison company to fulfill its goals it needs an ever increasing number of prisoners put in jail. Why in the world does Mrs. Wasserman Shultz want another private prison? The only explanation I can find for her to do that is that the company CCA has paid her money or offered her financial support for the next elections. That means she has sold her soul to the devil. She has dismissed the voices of her constituents telling her they do not want this private prison, because nothing else matters to her but money. And for money this nation is being sold to private interests.
