Roberta LaFrance signed Side With Justice Over Racism! 2012-04-25 19:19:00 -0700My great- and grand-parents along with great- aunts and uncles on both sides of my family emigrated to America in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They did it legally because there was a “clear path” of what had to be done to be accepted into the U.S. at the time. Have we grown so much that we no longer want/need additional peoples in our melting pot? Really? What is the real answer without hateful rhetoric? We are intelligent enough to figure this one out. Let’s use our brains and compassion to figure it out. Hey, maybe the “haters” should be “bannished” from America?!
Side With Justice Over Racism!
The United States Supreme Court is hearing arguments in Arizona v. United States, the Obama administration’s challenge to Arizona’s anti-immigration law, SB1070. What they won't be hearing is what and who has fueled this discriminatory legislation.
Will justice triumph over racial profiling and discrimination fueled by supremacist and nativist fringe groups? We need to stand together in this most pressing time.

Roberta LaFrance signed Debbie: Say No To CCA! 2012-04-07 11:34:02 -0700Ms. Wasserman Schultz, I am outraged as an American and a Californian Democrat, that you, of all people, a Democratic “leader”, head of DCCC, would side with members of ALEC! This is not the America that my Great Grandparents immigrated to. I will be the first to create a petition to “demote” you from your position on the DCCC.
Please reconsider the building of “prisons” as a way to “control good people from seeking their dream of freedom”. Ms. Wasserman Schultz, I used to admire your drive for the underdog. Have you switched sides? Should we now fear you, one of “our” Democratic leaders? Again, please reconsider your position on the building of this prison. The woman I used to watch on publicly televised channels, who I so greatly admired, who’s integrity is now in question would have the grace to “intelligently” change her stance with more information that has come to light.
