Regardless of where they’re from, all human beings deserve dignity, empathy and opportunity. This is a nation of immigrants, and millions arrived haphazardly without formal documentation. They have helped build this country. We should never forget that. But hey, if you don’t want immigrants to take your jobs, press Congress to enact a LIVING WAGE, so that all work is rewarded instead of encouraging a race to the bottom.

The Obama Administration announced a change in the priorities for detentions and deportations, to focus on real national security concerns, not on separating parents from their children or deporting DREAMers who are only seeking a better future.
