I am very proud of the life my mother, who is an immigrant, created for herself and her children here in the United States. We are a nation of immigrants who took the land from the Native people. Those that say that America is “theirs” and others should come here need to look at their own family’s history. Unless you are a member of a Native American tribe – your family immigrated here.
