Congresswoman: We live in Arizona. We know how CCA wrote the outrageous immigaration bill to increase the number of persons arrested and detained in order to increase their profits. We also know the deplorable conditions in the detention camps. Do you know that women in the camps are raped? Do you know that the children of prisoners are left on the street if there are no family members to take them? Do you know the outrageous amount of money that goes to CCA shareholders rather than to providing decent prison conditions? If you don’t know these facts, you should. If you do know them and yet support their goals, you should be ashamed.
