Even though they were White, because they were subject to anti-immigrant bias, they were desperate to go about their lives unnoticed, and melt into the life and culture of the great American Way. So they didn’t teach their children their native language, and they never spoke of their native country. Out of fear? Probably. How can we call ourselves a Christian nation when discrimination and hatred fueled by racism continues unabated today? It MUST stop!!
Side With Justice Over Racism!
The United States Supreme Court is hearing arguments in Arizona v. United States, the Obama administration’s challenge to Arizona’s anti-immigration law, SB1070. What they won't be hearing is what and who has fueled this discriminatory legislation.
Will justice triumph over racial profiling and discrimination fueled by supremacist and nativist fringe groups? We need to stand together in this most pressing time.
