It is time to stop wasting both tax money and manpower on arresting and deporting those individuals who are coming to this country simply to provide sustenance to their families. Provide work visas and tax the wages. Why are we making farmers and small businessmen, who are just barely making a living, criminals if they hire someone who is willing to give them a good days work at the only price they can afford.


To mesh the drug problem and terrorist issue with the immigration issue is absolutely illogical and just another fear tactic of right.

This is an embarrassment to Iowa, a state that has welcomed newcomers from around the world for decades.

This video is funny, but sadly true…these Republicans need to be voted out of office! The world shouldn’t have borders to separate human beings…we are all one race, the human race!

Your comments are disgusting. As a person who is supposed to uphold and respect the law – I would think you would respect not sending out comments into the general (often uneducated on this topic) population that generalize any group of people. It’s disgusting and degrading and only shows how King really feels. Anyone with this much bias and disregard for human beings needs to be removed from the panel – immediatly. We need an open and honest conversation with honest and open topics. Not name throwing, rhetoric and insults.

In a way I hope they go on talking like this so that their constituents will vote them out of office and give us a better chance of real reform. They can certainly write off any votes from people who have a family background in Spanish (or Portuguese) speaking countries.

Mr. King’s bigotry is typical of those who are impeding immigration reform, so let’s get rid of him & change the policy.
