considering what the robber baron hijacked US government has stolen from Mexico over the years – including Texas and California (two of the biggest money-makers in North America) – the Mexican people are owed a bit more than US robber baron owned minimum wage-paying factories dotting what remains of their lands. If they can come into this country and find work – THEN THERE IS WORK HERE FOR THEM, and they should go unmolested. Minimum wage, social security, and other laws have to apply to ALL workers in the country, though …. so government emphasis must be on stamping out / shutting down the illegal ‘slave marketers’ who bring in illegals and hire them out at slave wages …………. running them from site to site in vans with blacked out windows, and housing them in deplorable, unsanitary, sub-human conditions. Those running such operations are the real criminals – and need to be indicted, tried, convicted, and imprisoned – WITHOUT suspended sentences and ‘probabion’.

I hope people do not judge all Iowans by Steve King’s uninformed, biased, racial remarks. He does not represent us.

We need the valedictorians in this country – we need those who live quietly and don’t run afoul of the law – we need those who take care of their families – we need those who’ve paid taxes in many forms and don’t reap the benefits of their contributions – THESE PEOPLE HAVE EARNED A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP!

We need real Immigration Reform, and not from people who specialize in putting down the people for whom the reform is intended.
