Arizonians…many of them, have been citizens of the U.S. for years yet because of the color of their skin, they have to show papers. When will racism, prejudice and hate be abolished. Jane Brewer needs to be replaced by a governor who respects the citizens of Arizona rather than accomodating private jails and prisons so they make more money!

I live in a state that doesn’t keep racism just under the surface of its discourse. In Arizona it comes right to the top, and we have plenty of people in high places who are happy to hate.

I’ts easy to forget that we are all immigrants or descendants of immigrants, especially when racism guides our thinking. Laws against immigration have resulted in the death of many who sought freedom here, including my Jewish relatives. I strongly oppose Arizona’s anti-immigration law.

What America doesn’t understand is the role they’ve played in causing this catastrophy. At some point, they have to take responsibility for their callousness: First of all, women are the heart of Mexican (and all Latin American) culture and civilization. The Indiginous women of the Americas have been ripped off for their land which is their livelihood. A woman needs her ancestral land to build her hut and plant her crops, raises chickens and a couple of sheep (for meat, wool for her blankets, milk for cheese etc).
Without these resourses, a woman’s ability to maintain a family have gone from subsistance to zero. First the Spainards and then the Americans (working with the Spainards) have established Rubber, Coffee and Banana etc Plantations on these stolen lands The Indiginous women and their families are shoved onto the rocky hillsides to fend for themselves for the best lands have been stolen from them. When the torrential rains come, they’re wiped out. Destitute they move to big cities. If they die on the street, their children survive eatting from the city dump. When these children reach puberty, they have no opportunity for education. So what is left for them to do: Prostitution, theivery, drug dealing….or to go North for migrant farm work. These lands were stolen mostly because the Indiginous people didn’t have the taxes to pay for their land. For thousands of generations our people gave tribute to their local tribal leaders who cared about them. Everyone was taken care of. They never heard of taxes. But for 600 years now we have been slaughtered in one way or another. Now America blames us because they can’t tell the difference between a migrant farm worker and a terrorist. All Indiginous people of the Americas know Americans to be terrorists and derelects.
Secondly, for thousands of generations, since the time of Lord Kukulcan, the Indiginous peoples of the Americas have used sacraments in a ceremonial way, with a curandero and family members to guide the young people into an awareness of spiritual life. These sacraments are not addictive. They are hallucinagenic. Cocaine is not a sacrament. It is a medicine in it’s natural leaf form. When it is cooked into a paste it becomes a poisen. Americans are derelects and don’t know how to use a sacrament in a ceremonial way that benefits. They just like to blow their brains out. Why? Are they trying to forget something?! or are they just ignorant barbarians who like to shoot Mexicans at the Border so they can put another notch on their high powered rifles and maybe win some kind of trophy for who killed the most Mexicans that month) in their secret societies. Well the great grandchildren of the Indiginous people are very hip to what America has done. Remember the Oliver North story of trading guns for drugs?!
Who was Pablo Escobar selling hundreds of pounds and tons of cocaine too anyway. Wealthy Americans living in mansions in the suburbs! Who brought crack into the African American communities. It wasn’t Pablo and it wasn’t Latin Americans who fought for territory with the black communities for a right to sell to whites on every corner. It was these wealthy Gringos who figured out how to make crack and taught the poor impoverished people how to do it. And why….so they could make money, so they could get a cut of the profits! They are the real enemy of the American people. African Americans and Latinos born in America couldn’t afford to buy cocaine. So these wealthy sons of the devil “fronted” them all the cocaine they could sell.
Stop putting this catastrophy on the victims. Americans caused this. We don’t even believe that America will ever own up to what they’ve done, just like they broke every treaty they made with Native American tribal leaders…. and are still so cavalier about it. That’s all I have to say at this time. Just think about it, and stop persecuting the Immigrants or give indiginous women their land back!!! and we can get out of your hair once and for all!!!
