Side With Justice Over Racism!

The United States Supreme Court is hearing arguments in Arizona v. United States, the Obama administration’s challenge to Arizona’s anti-immigration law, SB1070. What they won't be hearing is what and who has fueled this discriminatory legislation.

Will justice triumph over racial profiling and discrimination fueled by supremacist and nativist fringe groups? We need to stand together in this most pressing time.

We need to show that together we reject this hate agenda.

Sign the pledge stating that YOU side with justice over racism!

Before watching this video, I had never heard of John Tanton. However, I am unfortunate enough to have come across many people like him. The brief clip you showed of Joe Arpaio saying it was “an honor” to be branded KKK or somesuch is fairly characteristic of this type of regressive mentality. We forget who we are——-a nation of immigrants. I think of a cartoon from decades ago in the old Saturday Review magazine, showing two North American natives sitting on a high rock on what looks like the Massachusettes coast (probably sometime in the 17th century), watching two English ships come into port. “Damned illegal aliens!” says one to the other.
