I never got my work permit I’d in the mail. Even though the tracking number said it arrived?

I meet all the requirements except the one that requires you to be here (US) on January 2007, since I came on January 10, 2008. Do you think I can apply or do I have a chance

Hi my name is dulce I apply for the defer action on march 2013 then a month later I when to get my bio taken and my pictures it’s almost a year and I still don’t know how my case going I been calling the Nebraska office and all they say its to wait could someone help me with more information or is there something I could do.

I apply mine since april 18, still on initial review, is that normal. Today is fev 6, 14. Someone please ease my pain

Hello, my name is Ana I am from Texas USCIS received my application on March 18, 2013 approved it on March 22, 2013. My bios were on April 24, 2013. My application was sent to Nebraska service center which I’ve heard takes the longest of all. Today is Feb 5, 2014 and my case status has remained ‘initial review’ for 10 and a half months. nothing has changed in my case. I keep sending e-requests but now the website won’t allow for cases of DACA to file e-requests any more. I have not received request for further evidence but I hope I get at least something soon.

I apply on September 13, 2012 i got my biometrics on october 22, today is february 3, 2014 and I haven’t heard anything from them, no letters or anything. My application is in the texas center.

Hi I need to know how should I file my taxes this year 2014? I got deferred action and got my social but have not used it yet to work. I used a made up one ,still using it. but I also file with my itn every year , not the made up social. How do I file in feb 2014, since I have not yet used the good social #. Also do I need to give up my itn and update it with the irs to the new social? Also I just got married to a us citizen . Help!

im going to apply for the ddefered action can I be working full or part time while applying for daca or should I not work at all?

I submitted my DACA application on Oct 09, 2012, I have called several times since then with no success. I called again in Oct 2013 and let them know that it had been a year since I submitted my application without any sort of action on USCIS’ part then they sent me an RFE that I have yet to receive, neither did or my attorney receive such notice. I called again and let them know that I never got the RFE and the said that they would put in a request for a new RFE to be sent out, its been two months and I have not received anything. I have tried to call them since then and I have just been told that all I can do is wait because I can not put in a service request.

Hi! I got approved for deferred action and proceeded to apply for my ss card. When I recived it i tried to update my credit and tax information. I sent letters to the there credit bureaus and a few days later got a letters saying my son couldn’t be updated because it was not assigned by the social security office. I went to the bank where i have my checking account and they said it couldn’t be updated because it was invalid. Tried a third time, I tried to check my credit score and when I entered the number it says is no valid. My brother, who happens to have the same status as me, had no problems. He actually applied for a credit card and got approved. I called the Social Security Office and they say is valid. I want to get my state ID, but now I’m scared. What should I do?

If was working with a old ssn ( not valid ) should I let know the Social Security Office of that….or keep it quiet , while applying for my Daca social?

How can I prove I came to the US a month before reaching my 16th birthday I do not have any paper work from that time period. Hi! I was wondering why my case is taking so long! I applied on October 3, 2012 AND did my biometrics November 19, 2012. Ever since i havent gotten no response! Its been over a year now and ive called and done 3 service request and all they tell me is to keep waiting! My case was send to the Nebraska Center and yet i havent heard nothing!. Why is it taking so long? They said they needed to wait for the security checks. What does that mean?

I am desperate. I applied for DACA on November 9th, 2012, as today 10/18/2013 I haven’t received my work permit yet. I received a letter asking for evidence on June 8th, and I got all my evidence and submitted it on July 28th. the due date for my letter was august 13,2013. As this moment I have place two e-request, but I just get letter saying that it’s in progress and that they understand the inconvenience.


What else can I do, I try to reach by phone, but they say I need to talk to an officer, and that there was no officers available at that time.

I have two TAX ID numbers and been working with both lately… when i apply for a job through an employer i use my SSN but i still do side jobs with a contractor that i work for before i got my DACA and he has my TAX ID #(ITIN) So lately I’ve been using both numbers to work can i file taxes for both numbers as well?
