Why is FL Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz siding with the Corrections Corporation of America and not her constituents in Southwest Ranches? 98% of her constituents DO NOT want a new for-profit immigrant detention center!

We call on Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-20) to WITHDRAW her current endorsements for CCA’s project.

The Obama Administration announced a change in the priorities for detentions and deportations, to focus on real national security concerns, not on separating parents from their children or deporting DREAMers who are only seeking a better future.

It is time for ICE to stop the immigrant money making machine and tell CCA to GO AWAY from Southwest Ranches.

    People need jobs. Focus more on rehabilitation than punishing refugees. The world belongs to us all! Help the destitute and desperate to come up. Crossing the Border is a victimless crime. Why punish people more? When we push each other over the cliff,

    we can’t then say we’re fighting in “whereever” to create Peace and establish Democracy. That’s Demo-crazy! We don’t need Communism or Socialism…Democracy works fine when Americans live up to the rhetoric of our forefathers and mothers. We are so blessed.     I am uncomfortable with private for-profit corporations taking over governmental functions. It’s time we phased out private correctional facilities of all kinds, but especially for immigrant detention. Congresswoman Wasserman needs to remember that she speaks for all Democrats now.
