There are at least two things in our society that should NEVER be PRIVATIZED! One of them is prisons. The other is healthcare. Please, Rep. Wasserman…stay true to your progressive beliefs and reject privatization of our corrections system!

A detention center for profit: 10 to the worst ideas ever.

The government is intended to be of the people for the people and by the people NOT private enterprise. Government doesn’operate on a profit margin at tax payers expense private corporations do. Represente the people who elected you NOT bought you.

I don’t support “Democrats” that act like Republicans.

Congresswoman: We live in Arizona. We know how CCA wrote the outrageous immigaration bill to increase the number of persons arrested and detained in order to increase their profits. We also know the deplorable conditions in the detention camps. Do you know that women in the camps are raped? Do you know that the children of prisoners are left on the street if there are no family members to take them? Do you know the outrageous amount of money that goes to CCA shareholders rather than to providing decent prison conditions? If you don’t know these facts, you should. If you do know them and yet support their goals, you should be ashamed.

Rep. Wasserman needs to spend a month in a prison and see how things are going there. We need a chair with better judgement.

Republicans seem to always side with big business. Democrats should always side with the people, not big business.

Why would you do such a thing? I thought you were a good person; a person to admire. But with this action, you support the very worst criminals in America; those who through corruption and greed profit off the pain and misery of others.
