Debbie: Say No To CCA!

Why is FL Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz siding with the Corrections Corporation of America and not her constituents in Southwest Ranches? 98% of her constituents DO NOT want a new for-profit immigrant detention center!

IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT FOR SALE

We call on Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-20) to WITHDRAW her current endorsements for CCA’s project.

The Obama Administration announced a change in the priorities for detentions and deportations, to focus on real national security concerns, not on separating parents from their children or deporting DREAMers who are only seeking a better future.

It is time for ICE to stop the immigrant money making machine and tell CCA to GO AWAY from Southwest Ranches.

constituants should be the ones deciding if they want a privately run detention center built. It’s been shown that standard of living is worse in “for-profit” facilities.

This smells to high heavens, stop it before it starts. Prison facilities for profit should not be allowed ever.

Debbie, how can you ask me to commit dollars and time the the DNC when you are supporting privitization of criminal justice, a fundamental duty of government?

Whats the matter – can’t/won’t hold good old Wall Street and the wretched bankers to acount. But you have plenty of energy to badger the defenseless. Leave these people and their children alone or find other gainful employment.

For-profit prisons are made only to be filled as fast as possible. Prisoners = $ Don’t build them.
