We call on Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-20) to WITHDRAW her current endorsements for CCA’s project.

The Obama Administration announced a change in the priorities for detentions and deportations, to focus on real national security concerns, not on separating parents from their children or deporting DREAMers who are only seeking a better future.

It is time for ICE to stop the immigrant money making machine and tell CCA to GO AWAY from Southwest Ranches.

    CCA is FASCISM! Legalized tyrrany! I was a copier tech back in the 1980’s going into this prison in Hinton, OK. I thought back then if your business is imprisoning people, then how do you grow your business….easy, lobby for more and stricter laws. 3 strikes, War on Drugs, etc. Why are drugs illegal (reason for most imprisonments)? Because our govt, CIA, military, and banks are the number 1 drug traffickers. Google “Fast and Furious,” google “military guarding poppy in Afghanistan.” Ever wonder how a country hick like Clinton got to the White House? Or how HW Bush has a nickname like “Poppy?” Google “Mena, Arkansas Barry Seal.”

    If they build it we should ensure the first occupants are bankers. The reason are obvious. Our reps give CCA our tax dollars and CCA makes sure our reps get a kickback (oh. sorry, a commission)

    I ’m surprised to learn that Rep Schultz supports this. A for profit privatized penal system in America is just plain wrong. Next will be calls for stiffer sentences, fewer plea brgains… Nobody should be making a profit from locking other Americans in cages like animals at the A.S.P.C.A. The incarceration rate in the U.S. is shameful. There seems to be a push for a growing “Prison Industrial Complex”.
