Why is FL Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz siding with the Corrections Corporation of America and not her constituents in Southwest Ranches? 98% of her constituents DO NOT want a new for-profit immigrant detention center!

IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT FOR SALE

We call on Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-20) to WITHDRAW her current endorsements for CCA’s project.

The Obama Administration announced a change in the priorities for detentions and deportations, to focus on real national security concerns, not on separating parents from their children or deporting DREAMers who are only seeking a better future.

It is time for ICE to stop the immigrant money making machine and tell CCA to GO AWAY from Southwest Ranches.

    Do not endorse CCA to build a prison. My son was in Idaho at a CCA prison. Their food is awful, and their bottom line is to make money at the expense of the prisoner and their families. Please say NO!!!!!!

    I love u Debbie… But a private, FOR-PROFIT!!! Immigrant Detention Center fits right in the Nazi Gov Scott’s secret agenda to raise a huge fortune from commissions by these private institutions who are making $$$millions from us, the tax payers. A state run center would be cheaper and more humane and could employ skilled union workers.

    The entire board and top management of CCA should be in prison for lies, broken promises, bait-and-switch tactics and generally mis-treating prisoners in their care.
